Pastor Kekapa will lead a Bible class on Wednesdays, Feb. 7th – March 21st in room 102, from 1-2:30 p.m. The study is based on a book by Walter Brueggmann titled, “Sabbath as Resistance: Saying No to the Culture Of Now.” Brueggeman calls Christians to reclaim the tradition of Sabbath observance and rescue the 4th commandment from centuries of pietistic, privatized interpretation. We want more, own more, use more, eat more, and drink more. Sabbath as Resistance shows readers how keeping the Sabbath allows us to break this restless cycle and focus on what is truly important: God, other people, all life. Please sign up on the Ewa lanai.
